Lafon, Sommelier Daniel Johnnes and Chef Daniel Boulud have collaborated
to bring us dtour wine, a premium quality Chardonnay packaged in
a tube. This modern & creative design eliminates injuries incurred
by common box wine’s “square” design and bad rep.
dtour’s tube fits conveniently in the refrigerator. It comes
with a top carry handle and easy to use pouring spigot. A plastic
bladder inside keeps the air out and the wine fresh for weeks. Made
from 100% Macon-Villages Chardonnay, this wine is an extraordinary
value for everyone’s budget. The dtour tube holds 3 liters
of wine, which is the equivalent of 4-standard 750 ml bottles.
This wine is
a beautifully vinted young Chardonnay that is fermented in stainless
steel. We noticed delicate peach tones, hints of vanilla and a round/nice
